Cleaning and Beautifying Seattle’s University District

The U District Partnership Beautification Team team members maintain our seasonal flower baskets, remove graffiti on public right-of-ways, and tackle a variety cleaning projects around the U District Business Improvement Area (UDBIA).

Spot Cleaning

Our team is trained and equipped to address cleaning issues as they arise in the UDBIA. They provide our organization the ability to quickly respond to small messes during work hours before they have the chance to grow and spread.

Flower Baskets

Our Beautification Team maintains our colorful flower baskets located on multiple streets across the U District’s shopping areas.

Graffiti Removal

Beautification Team members regularly remove unsightly graffiti and stickers in the pubic right-of-way within the U District Business Area (UDBIA).

W.O.O.T. Program

The Work Or Opportunity Training (W.O.O.T.) Program provides young adults experiencing homelessness with essential job skills, training, and experience. Our Beautification Team partners with ROOTS Young Adult Shelter and the Sanctuary Art Center through this program.
