Patrolling and Protecting Seattle’s University District
The U District Partnership (UDP) launched an Ambassador Team in July of 2017. Patrolling the U District Business Improvement Area (UDBIA) seven-days-per-week, this dedicated team helps keep our neighborhood safe, welcoming, and livable.
The UDP Ambassadors are available to help business owners and employees in the UDBIA with security issues such as shoplifting or other safety concerns. The Ambassadors work Thursday through Sunday in the Business Improvement Area.

- Service Referrals – Supporting our neighbors in need by sharing with them information about social services and connecting them local providers, such as the REACH Program.
- Reporting Cleaning Needs – Reporting graffiti, illegal dumping, or other cleaning needs in the public realm to our Beautification Team or through the City of Seattle’s Find It, Fix It app.
