Looking for Two More Ratepayers for the Ratepayer Advisory Board

The UDBIA Ratepayer Advisory Board has two remaining open slots for Board members. The ordinance passed by the Seattle City Council specifies the makeup of the Advisory Board to ensure a broad range of representation including geography, ownership, commercial tenant representation, and residential presence. At this time, the Board has two vacant slots that must be filled by “ratepayers”. Ratepayers are defined as the owners of commercial, multi-use, or multi-family properties within the geographic boundaries of the Business Improvement Area.

Names will be submitted to the Office of Economic Development and the Director appoints qualified candidates. The term of office is three years.

If you are a ratepayer and are interested in serving, or if you have questions, please contact Mark Crawford, Interim Executive Director at mark@udistrictpartnership.org.
