Umbrellas and Flower Baskets Are Back to Brighten Up the District

Take a walk around the U District this week and you’ll see some colorful additions — hanging flower baskets and our red umbrellas are back for the warm season! Each year, the U District Partnership stewards these beautiful additions to the Ave and NE 43rd St outdoor seating plaza. Keep an eye out for our flower baskets and umbrellas next time you visit the U District, whether it’s for some cool vintage threads, refreshing bubble tea, or a tasty lunch.
