Flower Baskets Are Back on The Ave!

Fresh flower baskets are going up along The Ave, bringing a welcome burst of color and life to the neighborhood just in time for summer. The UDP Clean Team is out there this week making it happen, and the results are beautiful.

These bursts of color are part of The U District Partnership’s ongoing commitment to creating a vibrant, welcoming experience for everyone who calls the U District home, works here, or is just passing through. Special thank you to University Rotary Club for providing additional support for the 2026 flower baskets.

To celebrate the arrival of summer and this week’s flower basket installation along The Ave, we’re spreading the love with a free flower giveaway! Stop by the NE 43rd Street Outdoor Dining Area on Monday, June 1 at 12pm and pick up a flower, courtesy of The U District Partnership. The first 100 people to show up will take home a little piece of the season.
