U District National Night Out Boasts Art, Ice Cream, and Community

What a wonderful evening at U District Station Area Park! On Tuesday, August 4, The U District Partnership and U District Community Council were thrilled to host our annual National Night Out celebration at 43rd and Brooklyn, bringing neighbors, workers, and community members together for an evening of outdoor games, a community art experience with Alex Nason of the True Butterfly Effect, and of course, ice cream.

Thank you to everyone who came out and made the evening so special. Events like this are a reminder of just how vibrant and connected our community is, and we love any opportunity to celebrate that together.
