The U District Partnership is seeking applications for $5,000-$20,000 in funding from arts and culture organizations and businesses to support 2023 arts-related activations and events in the U District. These funds are available to the U District thanks to the City of Seattle Office of Arts and Culture’s Neighborhood Recovery Program.
Eligibility and Guidelines
Applicants can request between $5,000 and $20,000 for arts and culture-related events or activations to take place by September 2023. A total of $75,000 in awards will be made. Applicants may apply for new or existing programs. Activations and events should take place in the U District and seek to rebuild and assist in arts and culture recovery and reach underserved communities and audiences and those most impacted by COVID-19. Applicants must have a valid State of Washington business license and/or non-profit status.
Applications are due by 5:00pm PT on Friday, March 3, 2023. Awards will be announced March 17, 2023.

Information Sessions
The UDP is offering two free, online information sessions for anyone interested in applying for a grant. Both sessions will cover the same information. Attendance is encouraged, but not required.
